Do you buy notebooks and pens for your creative writing, then never find time to use them?
Do you want to put pen to paper, only to hear your inner critic trying to stop you?
Do you dream of writing memoir, poetry and fiction, but wonder how to begin?
Would you like to share your writing with a small group of supportive fellow writers?
"Working with Rachel in a group gives me peace and connection - what a spiritual combination! I'm amazed every week how my mood changes over two hours, - I come out somewhere totally different, surprising and with a feeling unimaginable when I began. Real magic!"

Are you ready to take the plunge and get to know your own, unique creative writing voice?
I offer a range of Creative Writing for Wellbeing courses to free your words, feed your soul, connect you to others, and make you feel better about your Creative Writing and yourself. I do this by creating a contained and confidential space in which people can write and build relationships with others at depth in a relatively short space of time. I bring to the work my love of poetry, prose and playfulness, my creativity, my interest in language, and my expertise in working with groups of adults.
Read about the aims and objectives of my courses and workshops and read my FAQs, where you can also find out about my theoretical approach to running Creative Writing workshops.
Current offerings
Most of my courses and workshops are online, but I also run some workshops and longer courses at Monks Yard in Somerset.
"Your courses are exhilarating, mind opening, creative and grounding at the same time. And do a tremendous amount for personal wellbeing and internal confidence."
