For this eight-week course, I’ll bring a range of ‘breath’-related prompts to sessions 1, 3, 5 and 7. For sessions 2, 4, 6 and 8, in the spirit of inhale and exhale / call and response, I’ll devise prompts to invite further exploration of a theme or word (not necessarily ‘breathe’-related) that arose in each group’s preceding session. In other words, the prompts for sessions 1, 3, 5 and 7 will be the same for both the morning and evening group, but for sessions 2, 4, 6 and 8 they’ll be bespoke. What extended conversations will emerge from each group’s writing and reflections as the weeks go by?

All creative writing styles and levels of experience are welcome. The course will operate within CARE guidelines (Confidentiality, Attention, Respect and Empathy), allowing you to take creative and emotional risks in a safely-held space. There's no obligation to write in a particular way, nor to share your work if you don't want to. No previous experience is necessary.

NB There’s no session on Tuesday 27 May.

Zoom: Min group size 6, max group size 8
