"Thank you for your brilliant courses as I have been thoroughly inspired and I have even been writing outside of the sessions. You have re-lit my love for creative writing so thank you for that."

— Lydia

Tuesdays (Zoom, UK time)
7 Jan - 1 April 2025
Group 1: 10.00 am-12.00 noon;
Group 2: 6.30-8.30 pm

There’s you, there’s the world, and there’s your writing – the texts you create to convey to others your unique experience of being in the world. In Sense(-ation), I’ll offer a range of prompts to get you writing in that space where self meets other and other meets self, through an exploration of the senses* and sensations.

This course is a continuation of Sense(-ation) 1 (Autumn 2024), but it is also open to new participants. All creative writing styles and levels of experience are welcome. The whole course will operate within CARE guidelines (Confidentiality, Attention, Respect and Empathy), allowing you to take creative and emotional risks in a safely-held space. There's no obligation to write in a particular way, nor to share your work if you don't want to. No previous experience is necessary.

I'm a published author and a qualified and experienced Creative Writing for Wellbeing facilitator. I create a safely-held space where participants have the opportunity to write into a prompt and then share their writing with the group if they wish to. The focus is always on the content of your writing; there’s no literary critique.

*More than you might think!

The course is suitable for writers with all levels of experience.

NB There is no session on Tuesday 18 February.
